“It was the first time in my life that another human being listened to my story, believed me and tried to help”, said a participant in a UN Trust Fund-funded project by the Women’s Support Center in Armenia
$25 can reach another community member to raise awareness on sexual and gender-based violence through public awareness campaigns in Kenya working to prevent harmful traditional practices such as Female Genital Mutilation.
$40 can ensure that one woman or girl accesses services for sexual and gender-based violence including case management, counselling, and legal and psychological support in Jordan, including refugee women and girls.
$100 can train journalists and justice advocates at a radio station in Nepal to report ethically on conflict-related violence against women.
$115 can ensure the active participation of an underrepresented woman or girl in discussions to advocate for a comprehensive law to end violence against women and girls in Chile.
You can be part of this change. Donate to the UN Trust Fund and help make the world a brighter place, free from violence against women and girls.
With your contributions, we can reach one more woman or girl through projects to prevent and end violence against women and girls.
The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women, managed by UN Women on behalf of the United Nations system, relies entirely on voluntary contributions.
Last year, we reached 8 million individuals through 125 projects implemented around the world to prevent and end violence against women and girls. This year we are aiming to reach 10 million people. To do this we need your support!
(Contributions are accepted from all countries and territories. If you are a United States citizen, your contribution is tax-deductible. Your contribution is made via the U.S. National Committee for UN Women, which is a 501(c)(3) organization.)
